*All employees must wear safety boots that should be kept clean and free of any dirt and be in good condition.
*You are legally permitted to work in Canada and you are not drawing any social benefits.
*Do not walk off the job. If you are not satisfied call our office immediately or at the end of the shift. If you walk off the job you will NOT BE PAID FOR THAT DAY.
*In case of an accident, you MUST call our office as soon as possible. Please inform 12 hours in advance if are not available for the next shift if you fail to do $50 will be deducted from your pay.
*4% vacation pay will be paid based on your per hour rate.
*You agree to work over 8 hours a day based on the requirement of our clients.
*You acknowledge that you received the latest fact sheet "Employment Standard Act 2000" as published by the Ministry of Labor.

Workplace Violence, Harassment & Domestic Violence
Workplace harassment is a course of comments or conduct against a worker in a workplace that is known to be unwelcome. Types of workplace harassment include Sexual Harassment, Teasing, Intimidation, Offensive Jokes, display or circulation of offensive pictures or materials; unwelcome, offensive gestures, spreading rumors and stereotyping could also be considered harassment. Harassment may also relate to a form of discrimination as set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Workplace Violence occurs in a workplace and is the exercise of physical force by a person against a worker that causes, or could cause, physical injury to the worker; an attempt to exercise physical force against a worker, that could cause physical injury to the worker; a statement or behavior that is reasonable for a worker to interpret as a threat to exercise physical force against the worker, that could cause physical injury to the worker.
Workplace harassment will not be tolerated. Everyone in the workplace must be dedicated to preventing workplace Harassment/Violence.
Workers are encouraged to report any concerns around Violence or Harassment. If you encounter an incident of workplace violence or harassment that is urgent go directly to your supervisor and request their assistance. Safety is your first concern.
